Track Trivia:
Atlanta Motor Speedway is considered to be the fastest track in NASCAR. Although it's only 1.54 miles long it banks at 24 degrees there is no restrictor plates. Drivers rarely use the brake here and they routinely come into the corners at about 200 mph. Because drivers are always on the gas, engine strength is important as well as a good fuel strategy.
Good handling cars will normally be at the bottom of the track and passing can happen anywhere.
Where is the trouble? With a lot of side by side racing, watch out for turn 4 where the track gets narrow.
