Track Trivia:
Dover and Bristol are the only two concrete tracks in NASCAR. Again, tires are an issue but at Dover so is the engine. Since you are in the gas most of the time the drivers run in the top part of the power band. You can blow up here easy if you don't watch it.
Pit road here sucks. It's narrow and short. Drivers must be on top their game at The Monster Mile.
Passing here takes a while so your car needs to be fast in both corners to pass well.
Where is the trouble? The top of the turns. If you get loose and spin you come down the track and into traffic.
"Miles the Monster" was added to the track in 2008. He is about 40 feet high and holds in his right hand a full size Cup car.
