Track Trivia:
On the backstretch of this track you will see RV's parked on the hill. While the track could put up grandstands here, they refuse. Instead, those spaces are bought and paid for by the folks in those RV's, for life. In fact, those spots are handed down to the next generation and willed to the children.
There is a lot of shifting here and engines run at very high rpm, for that reason teams have a rev limiter. In case someone misses a shift, the engine is protected. The track is still pretty smooth so watch for teams to get the car as close to the ground as possible.
Where is the trouble? Both corners. The marbles from the tires make the cars slip and slide.
